a Tabo conditore dicta, urbs Lydiae in Pisidiae Cariaeque confinio. Item oppid. Cariae, Syriae item in Peraea regione. Dicuntur Tabae quasi petrae, in petris enim conditae, teste Steph. quem sis vide Sed Alexander in libro de Syria interpretatur bonam. Sane Tobb Hebraeis bonum significat.
